The Lake District National Park
The Lake District National Park covers approx. 855 sq. miles and provides visitors with a real mix of activities from a gentle stroll to more energetic fell-climbing, cycling and boating.
Langdale Lodge is perfectly placed for you to explore the Lake District:
To the West
Within easy reach are the Langdale Pikes, Crinkle Crags, the Scafell Range and spectacular Hardknott Pass.
To the North
You will find the brooding Helvellyn and the busy town of Keswick.
To the East
The fells of the famous High Street along with the lovely village of Troutbeck.
The Lakes
Many of the lakes have rowing and motor boats for hire, or you can take one of the many boat tours round lakes such as Coniston, Windermere and Derwentwater.
The towns of Bowness, Ambleside, Kendal and Keswick are within easy reach and offer shopping, sports and dining facilities.

The Park is very professionally managed and offers a huge range of attractions including:
